Environmental & Preservation Construction Project

The PEACH Environmental & Preservation Construction Project is our hands-on initiative to address unsafe housing conditions through lead-safe repairs and environmental upgrades. This project hires and trains local residents to perform preservation-minded construction work that safeguards families and preserves the character of Durham’s historic homes. By combining environmental remediation with job creation, PEACH not only strengthens health outcomes but also helps build a skilled local workforce.
